From the Vice-Principal Desk

Bijni College, the premier institution of higher education in Chirang district, BTR, Assam; has established itself as the most cherished destination for the young learners in this corner of the world. Catering to an agrarian and socio-economically underprivileged area, it has pledged to empower the young minds with the ideas and thoughts that can transform both the learner and the society around. A college that has already celebrated its golden jubilee and garnered the experiences of two cycles of NAAC accreditation, is still exuding enthusiasm to embrace new knowledge, practices and novel techniques in teaching-learning and beyond. It takes a rightful pride in serving to a highly diversified population in race, religion, community, language, nationality etc with élan.
All the stake-holders are continuously making effort to carry the present momentum to make this institution a kaleidoscopic picture of humanity. Blending the local and global values as withits own cherished vision, the college community aspires to mould the young minds to adapt to the universal experiences. Many a milestones to achieve, it poses challenge to every ally here to strive continuously towards realising its potency in every aspect. It is open to all the new changes coming its way to be more inclusive and holistic, taking in stride the inherent problems. Adapting to the changes and challenges of time the college is evolving into an institution of essential guidance and provider of both knowledge and skill to its students. As a member of its faculty for more than thirty years and now as a part of its administration, I see endless opportunities for collaboration and progress in spite of many accolades and a sound legacy of its own. I wish, the college will be the chronicle of celebrated human beings and champions in every field of life in days ahead.
