About Us
The Examination Committee of Bijni College is the apex body responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all internal and external academic evaluations.
Chaired by the Principal and comprising senior faculty or Heads of Departments (HODs), the committee ensures the fair, transparent, and timely conduct of
examinations, result declarations, and grievance resolutions.
Core Functions and Responsibilities:
The committee’s operational workflow is structured to uphold the academic integrity of the institution:
1. Examination Scheduling: Coordinates timelines for continuous internal evaluations, practicals, and college-end examinations. Prepares seating arrangements,
hall allotments, and invigilation duty charts.
2. Question Papers and Valuation: Oversees the secure collection or drafting of question papers and organises the evaluation and moderation of answer scripts.
3. Result Processing: Tabulates marks and ensures that grading processes align with affiliated Bodoland University & Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB)
Division – II guidelines.
4. Grievance Redressal: Addresses student complaints concerning grading discrepancies, requests for re-evaluation, or issues with marks uploaded to college & university
portals
5. Malpractice and Conduct: Enforces strict invigilation standards to prevent cheating and oversees disciplinary actions if Bodoland University or Bijni College
examination rules are violated.
