insights from community members. This includes techniques:
Interviews: Conducting face-to-face interviews with community leaders, knowledge holders, and practitioners to understand their perspectives and experiences.
Focus Groups: Engaging groups of faculty and student participants in intellectual discussions and cultural demonstrations to explore collective knowledge and
practices related to IKS.
3.2 Document Analysis: Reviewing existing literature, policy documents, and educational materials to assess how IKS is integrated into curricula and practices.
3.3 Participatory Research: This approach emphasizes the active involvement of community members of greater Bijni area in the research process. It ensures that the
research is relevant to the community and that the knowledge generated is owned by them. This method is crucial for fostering mutual benefits between researchers
and indigenous communities found in greater Bijni area like Bodo, Hajong, Koch-Rajbonshi, Sutradhar and Santhal.
3.4 Case Studies: Faculty and students of Bijni College guided by Innovation sectional In-charge often conduct case studies to explore specific instances of IKS
