The Bijni College Annual Magazine is a multi-lingual publication released every year by the Bijni College Students’ Union (BCSU). It is yearly student led publication that chronicles campus life, academic achievements, sports, cultural and literary events, and creative writings.
Purpose: Serves as a primary outlet for student expression, campus updates, and a showcase of literary and artistic talent.
Creative Outlet: Publishes student and faculty poems, short stories, essays, artwork, and photography.
• Institutional Record: Documents annual reports, sports, culture and literature highlights and the principal’s address.
Contributors: Creative, analytical, and literary writings, like, essays, poems, short stories etc. from students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff.
Key Features:
• Multilingual & Multidisciplinary: Languages such as Assamese, Bodo, Bengali, alongside English, covering fields from science, language and literature, social science and humanity.
• Editorial Board: Typically managed by a student editor, a faculty staff editor, and the college principal as chief editor, alongside a dedicated student committee.
