Students of Bijni College who have admitted in PG and FYUGP can access several major State and Central Govt. Scholarship Schemes. 
SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES
1. Combined Merit Scholarship:
            Eligibility: Male students in the 1st Semester of FYUGP and PG who are permanent resident of Assam with at least 60% marks in the last qualifying examination.
            Amount: ₹450 per month for undergraduate students and ₹500 per month for postgraduate students.
2. Nijut Moina Scheme:
            Eligibility: Female students in FYUG Programme
            Amount: ₹1,250 per month for up to 10 months in an academic year.
3. Nijut Babu Scheme:
            Eligible:  Male FYUGP students
            Amount: ₹2,000 per month.
4. Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme
            Eligibility: First Semester FYUGP students whose family income below ₹4.50 lakh per annum.
            Amount: ₹80,000 per year.
5. Post-Matric Scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC Students:
            Eligibility: Students belonging to reserved categories pursuing post-matriculation or degree/postgraduate courses.
Subject to category rules and family income limits ₹2.0 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh per annum).
6. Assam Fee Waiver Scheme:
            Eligibility: Students from low-income families enrolled in FYUGP
WHERE TO APPLY
State Portal: Submit applications and check active services through the Sewa Setu – Assam State Portal.
National Portal: Central and regional schemes (such as Post-Matric and UGC/NSP grants) are managed via the National Scholarship Portal.
Directorate Updates: Department-specific merit notices are posted on the Directorate of Higher Education Assam.
