Wall magazines published by all fourteen departmental forums and Bijni College Students’ Union of Bijni College serve as dynamic, student-run bulletin board publication. The practice cultivates literary and artistic creativity, provides practical teamwork and leadership experience, and creates an interactive forum for students to share ideas and explore topics beyond the standard curriculum. The benefit and significance of wall magazine publication:
A. Fostering Creativity & Self-Expression
Provides an accessible, low-pressure platform for students to publish essays, poetry, and artwork. Encourages students to research and articulate their thoughts clearly, developing both analytical and divergent thinking.
B. Developing Teamwork & Editorial Skills
Involves collaboration among peers for planning themes, editing drafts, and designing the visual layout. Builds practical project management and leadership skills as students curate and release regular issues.
C. Promoting Extracurricular Learning
Acts as a medium for learning outside the classroom by focusing on specific themes, such as local history, scientific developments, or environmental awareness. Deepens independent investigation and broadens students’ general knowledge.
D. Enhancing Campus Communication
