College Environment and Climate Cell

Bijni College boasts of a well-stocked and digitalized library that caters to the needs of students, faculty and the public. It has—- number of books and a good stock of journals. It has subscribed to no. of reputed research and other journals.

There is a Women Awareness Cell operating in the college to sensitize the whole college fraternity regarding the specific needs and issues of the women.

To protect the female students, staff and teachers of the college there exists an Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell which functions to resolve any issue arising out of a complaint of sexual harassment.

To inculcate in the students a sense of social responsibility and commitment to the surrounding community Extension Activity Cell organizes various outreach programme outside the campus for the benefit of the society.

To bring awareness about Environmental Health and Sustainability in collaboration with ASTEC. It undertakes various programmes in this regard and for its outstanding work, it has been selected as one of the three Best Eco Club among the colleges of Assam in 2022.

To bring awareness about hygienic practices and cleanliness among all the stake holders and particularly the students within the campus. It also takes care of scientific disposal of waste materials and recycling of natural and other resources.
